What We Collect

NoCatch.sg collects anonymous usage data to understand how people use the site and improve the experience. This includes:

• Pages viewed
• Plans compared and selection patterns
• Age and citizenship inputs (used for comparison, not tied to your identity)
• Referring website and UTM campaign parameters
• Browser type (user agent string)

If you subscribe to plan update notifications, we also collect:

• Your email address (required)
• Your phone number (optional, Singapore +65 format)
• The specific plan packages you choose to watch

What We Do Not Collect

• Names or any personally identifiable information beyond what you voluntarily provide when subscribing to notifications
• IP addresses (not stored)
• Cookies: we do not use cookies
• Cross-site tracking or advertising data

Plan Update Notifications

If you subscribe to plan update notifications, your email address, phone number (if provided), and selected plan packages are used solely to notify you when the plans you are watching are updated on NoCatch.sg, and (if you opted in) to send occasional site updates. Your phone number may be used for SMS or messaging notifications in future.

We do not share this information with any third party, insurer, or financial adviser. We do not use it for marketing purposes beyond the notifications you explicitly requested.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any notification email. Upon unsubscription, we stop sending notifications immediately. Your data is retained for up to 12 months after unsubscription for audit purposes, then permanently deleted.

Session Identifier

We generate a random anonymous identifier stored in your browser's local storage. This allows us to understand usage patterns within a browsing session. It contains no personal information and cannot be used to identify you. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

How Data Is Stored

Usage data is stored in a first-party database. It is not shared with, sold to, or accessible by any third party. Raw event data is retained for 6 months, after which it is deleted. Subscriber data (email, phone, watched plans) is retained while your subscription is active and for up to 12 months after unsubscription.

Third-Party Services

NoCatch.sg does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking services. Notification emails are sent via Resend, a transactional email service. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for the purpose of delivering notifications.

Your Rights Under PDPA

Under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), you have the right to request access to or correction of the personal data we hold about you. You may also withdraw your consent for us to collect, use, or disclose your personal data at any time by unsubscribing via the link in any notification email, or by contacting us.
